MY BROW ROUTINE

Brows, brows, brows... it's all about the brows these days. I haven't done a brow video in forever so I thought it was time for an updated one! Watch the video below to see how I fill in my eyebrows step-by-step!

Products Used

Step 1:
Comb through the brow with a spoulie (brow brush) to tame any crazy brow hairs and see what shape you're going to be working with

Step 2:
Outline and define the shape of the brow with the pencil. Flick the pencil upward towards the front of the brow to create a "real hair" look

Step 3:
Fill in the brow with powder. Use the lighter shade in the front of the brow, and the darker shade towards the tail

Step 4:
Set the brows with brow gel

Thanks for watching! I hope this video helped you out with your brows!

FULL DAY OF EATING #1

Hey guys! I finally did a full day of eating video! I try to follow a pretty healthy diet- diet meaning "way of eating" not fad die- and healthy is different for everybody. On a daily basis like to eat mostly natural whole foods, but I do eat some processed things like protein bars, chocolate chips and cool whip ;) I'm currently just eating to maintain my weight, and focus on fueling my body right to perform in the gym. No extremes, just healthy and balanced. I'm currently eating vegetarian for lent, so all the meals in today's video happen to be vegetarian friendly! And my dinner is actually vegan. All macros and nutritional info are included in the video. Enjoy!

Thanks for watching! What are some of your favorite meals?

My Favorite Breakfast | Egg & Avocado Toast

Hey guys! Today I'm going to show you how to make one of my all time favorite breakfasts- egg & avocado toast. I'm sure you've seen a ton of egg & avocado that pics on Instagram, so this may be nothing new- but I wanted to show you my take on it! It's such a good balanced breakfast because it contains complex carbs from the whole grain toast (I use Ezekiel bread, which is minimally processed), protein from the eggs, and healthy fats from the avocado (and the egg yolks!) Not to mention, it's full of flavor! I think my secret is in the spices... I crave this combo so much that I literally don't go more than a few days without it. It combines a lot of my favorite foods: avocado, serrate and runny eggs. Yum. Wanna see how to make it? Keep on reading!

Egg & Avocado Toast
(serves 1)

INGREDIENTS
2 pieces of whole grain bread
1/2 an avocado
2 eggs (or egg whites)
pink sea salt
pepper
cumin

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat a pan sprayed with a little non-stick spray, or use a drop of coconut oil
2. Crack the eggs into the pan. (I used 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites)
3. While the eggs are cooking, toast the bread.
4. When the bread is toasted, mash the avocado with a fork and spread on each piece of toast.
5. Add sea salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of cumin.
6. Drizzle with sriracha (if you like it spicy!)
7. When the eggs are done cooking (I like my yolk runny, so much more flavor and toast dipping..) place on top of the mashed avocado toast and enjoy!

MY TOP 10 MAKEUP TIPS FOR GLASSES

Hey guys! Today I have some tips for my gals that wear glasses. I was not born with great eyesight, so I wear contacts everyday. But there are a lot days that I just want to wear my glasses. (I'm sorry my frames are so old, I don't know where they are from, but my favorite brand I've been crushing on is Warby Parker. They're pretty affordable and give back to an amazing cause!) When I wear glasses, there are a few tweaks I make to my makeup, and they're actually super simple. Here's my top 10 makeup tips for glasses:

1. Let Your Frames Do the Talking
When your wearing glasses, the frames already bring attention to your eyes so you don't need as much eye makeup! That being said, you don't have to skip dramatic eye makeup either. It just takes less makeup to draw attention to your eyes! So save your self some time and maybe throw on a bold lip!

2. Brows Are Still Just as Important!
Your glasses frame your eyes, but your eyebrows frame your glasses. Make sure your brows are defined and neat! I like to use my Kevyn Aucoin precision brow pencil for definition, and set them in place with my NARS tinted brow gel.

3. Match Your Eye-Makeup Drama to the Size of the Frames
The bigger the frame, the more room you have to work with! If you have big frames, try a smokey eye.  The Jouer shadow crayons make a super simple & quick smokey eye. If your frames are smaller, sometimes keeping it simple will be more flattering.

4. Avoid Losing Your Foundation on the Sides of Your Nose
Start with a primer to keep your foundation from slipping. Finish with powder around your nose to keep your frames from rubbing off all your foundation! Trust me, I've been there - taking off your glasses and you have to big spots on the sides of your nose. Not the best look. lol

5. No Falsies
Fake lashes will just be too long and hit the front of your frames. If you want your lashes to pop just add an extra coat of mascara.

6. Bold Lips = Instant Chic
I love the look of just mascara, glasses, and a killer bold lip. Try a red, pink, or dark plum to have an instant pulled together look. I love this look when I want to wear my glasses to work, but still look professional and trendy. Shop some bold lips here!

7. Tired AF? Glasses are your BFF.
Whenever I'm super tired or my eyes just don't feel like a lot makeup, glasses can instantly distract from the tired eye look.

8. Highlight those Cheekbones!
Usually the frame of the glasses will hit right above the cheekbone. Help them stand out by highlighting them. I recommend using a powder instead of a cream, incase your glasses slide around. (powder usually lasts better than cream.) I love the Becca Pressed Shimmering Skin Perfecters.

9. Blush Placement is Key.
Too much blush in the wrong spot while wearing glasses can look kinda odd. Just like with eye makeup, it depends on the size of your frames. My frames are really large so I keep my blush a little lower on the apple and the blended up and back, avoiding the tips of the frame. If you have smaller lenses, you can keep the blush a little higher.

10. Don't Overthink the "Rules"
Lastly, when it comes to makeup, sometimes the rules are meant to be broken. So take my tips, and tweak them to your own style! Go have fun and try something new!

I hope this was helpful for you guys, and showed you that you can still look put together with your glasses on! Let me know if you try out any of these tips!
XoXo,
Steph

Hey y'all! Today on my YouTube channel, we're talking all about my skincare routine! I'll be sharing all my must have products that I use to keep my skin in its best shape possible. I mainly use Goldfaden MD, and organic and cruelty free line that I discovered last year after I started working for Belle and Blush. I've had the opportunity to be trained on several brands, and try many products, and Goldfaden still remains my go-to. I've never found a brand that I truly love so many products from. As I add to and adjust my skincare routine, I'll make sure to let you guys know, but for now here's what's working for me!

SPRING STYLE: 3 OUTFITS from 2 FLORAL Pieces!

Hey guys! Spring is quickly approaching us and this warmer weather is getting me so excited to break out flowy skirts and pretty florals! Recently I picked up this matching floral crop top and maxi skirt set from Forever 21. Here's the simple matching version of the top and skirt... it's like wearing a dress but not.

Not only did I think they were cute worn together, I thought it was such a great deal because I could wear the top with a different bottom or the skirt with a different top. You basically get three outfits in one! These pieces are so versatile that they can go from work, to a casual date, to a dressy night out. Shoutout to my awesome boyfriend Hayden for taking some awesome pictures! It was hard to decide which ones to use! 😘 Let's see some outfits!

LOOK #1: WORK IT

This first outfit is something I would wear to work, or maybe even school (on a dressier day). When we shot this blogpost I actually did come straight from work in this outfit! Keeping' it real y'all. And I'll let you know it was boss approved. 👍😎 I layered some black tights underneath the skirt, since the slit is so high, to make it more work/school appropriate. I layered a high neck black lace bralette under a white crop top. I love the pop of lace that is still conservative. For shoes I kept it cute but comfy with some wedge booties. I tied in some military style with an army green/leather jacket and a coordinating backpack! Perfect for hauling around school & work supplies!

White Crop Tank: Brandy Melville / Black Bralette: Aerie / Jacket: American Eagle (old, similar here) / Backpack: Urban Outfitters / Sunglasses: Similar here / Bracelets: Bournon & Bowties / Phone case: Bando / Black tights: Target / Shoes: Target

LOOK #2: DRIVING 'ROUND IN DENIM

This next outfit is the most casual of the three! Simple but flirty, this look is perfect for a casual date, driving around town and exploring some new places! I paired the original floral top with a pair of simple light wash high waisted skinnies and black heel booties. For a more walking friendly option (trust me those heels on the train track- not my brightest idea) try a pair of flat boots or sneakers!

Top: Forever 21 / Jeans: American Eagle / Faux Suede Booties: Forever 21 / Bracelets: Bourbon & Bowties

LOOK 3: ALL DRESSED UP

The last outfit, is back to just the original top and skirt- together like they were meant to be! I love a monochromatic look, and I love how wearing a matching top and skirt give the feel of a dress with something a little different. I paired this look with some black chunky wedges that balance out the soft floral print. I added my favorite cross body clutch, perfect for a night out. This is something I'd wear for a fancy date or night time event!

Top & Skirt: Forever 21, as mentioned 😉 / Wedges: Micheal Kors /  Crossbody bag: BelleandBlush / Pom pom: Brandy Melville (only $5) / Bracelets: Bourbon & Bowties

Makeup:

Foundation: Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation / Concealer (Brightener): Makeup Forever Ultra HD Concealer in R22 / Concealer: Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer / Bronzer: Nars Laguna / Blush: Nars Madly / Highlight: Becca Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfecter / Eyeshadow: Becca Ombre Rouge Palette / False Lahes: Ardell Individual Medium / Lipliner: Kevyn Aucoin Minimal / Lipstick: Lipstick Queen Pinky Nude Sinner

Thank you all so much for stopping by my blog! I hope this post helped show you that you can wear one to two pieces so many different ways, and for very different occasions. I love how affordable and versatile this top and skirt are, and it's something that anyone can rock this spring. Let me know what look was your fav!
